Mountain hikes
on foot and by train
Hike with the entire family on one of the numerous mountains in the area, where there is something for every level of difficulty. You can drive from Weilheim to the Hörnle Mountains and the Herzogstand in just 30 minutes. The combination of hiking and cable cars opens up some extremely interesting mountain tours of our area for visitors. On sunny days, you can even descend using the summer toboggan run at Blomberg and Kolben after doing the climb.

A mountain landscape with a particularly good network of cable cars and paths can be found at the Kolbensattel. Mountain bikers, hikers and summer tobogganers in particular can indulge in their hobbies here.
Blomberg
Tölzer home mountain
Take the cable car to the Tölz Hausberg and enjoy the view of the main Alpine ridge from the peak at an elevation of 1248 metres. Also ideal as a family tour.
Herzogstand

The Herzogstand is the showpiece mountain of the Bavarian Alpine foothills. Start with the Herzogstandbahn at Walchensee and head straight to the summit by cable car.
